HelloDR provides general practice healthcare for overseas visitors and international students. Our GPs provide consultations for a range of healthcare needs while you are in Australia. Fees and billing arrangements vary depending on eligibility, insurance cover, service and clinic location. .
Medical Services for Overseas Visitors
Services may include:
- General consultations for everyday health concerns, minor injuries, and chronic conditions
- Prescriptions & medication management
- Allied health referrals and specialist coordination
- Mental health support, including Mental Health Care Plans and counselling referrals
- Vaccinations, travel vaccines, and student placement requirements
- Pathology & diagnostic services including blood tests, ECGs, and iron infusions
- Sexual health services
- Women’s & men’s health
- Medical certificates and healthcare documentation
Healthcare for Patients Without Medicare
Patients who are not eligible for Medicare can still access healthcare at HelloDR. Consultation fees, insurance arrangements and other costs may apply. Please contact the clinic before your appointment to confirm fees and available billing options.

Fees & Insurance for Overseas Visitors & International Students
HelloDR welcomes overseas visitors and international students with or without private health insurance. Fees and billing arrangements depend on your insurance provider, policy, eligibility, service and clinic location.
If you hold OSHC or OVHC, your consultation may be eligible for direct billing depending on your insurer, policy, service and clinic location. Out-of-pocket costs may apply. Please bring your current insurance details to your appointment and contact the clinic beforehand if you would like to confirm billing arrangements.
Patients without overseas health insurance can still book an appointment. Consultation fees and any additional service costs may apply. Please contact the clinic before your appointment for current fee information. An invoice can be provided where required.
These insurers offer health cover options for visitors holding working, visitor, or temporary visas (e.g. 482, 485, 417, 408, 590, 600).
