HelloDR offers walk-in doctor appointments and same-day bookings for overseas visitors and international students.
Bulk Billing at HelloDR for Overseas Visitors & Students
HelloDR welcomes overseas visitors and international students with or without insurance, offering accessible healthcare through its bulk billing policy.
If you hold a valid Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) or Overseas Visitor Health Cover (OVHC) card from providers like Bupa, Allianz, Medibank, CBHS, NIB etc :
- Your will be bulk billed—no out-of-pocket cost.
- You may have to pay for the cost of vaccinations etc. There will be no surprises as you will be informed of cost if any prior to your appointment
- Just bring your insurance card to your appointment give us a call if in doubt.
Even if you don’t have overseas health insurance:
- HelloDR may still offer Medicare scheduled rates without a gap fee.
- You can request a printed invoice to claim reimbursement later if you get insured.
These insurers offer health cover options for visitors holding working, visitor, or temporary visas (e.g. 482, 485, 417, 408, 590, 600).
